Announcing Grove City For Canton

All Aboard is back with the last expansion module for Canton with Grove City. Grove City increases the Canton route to 75 miles. Picking up where the last expansion Thompson left off, the mainline skirts around Fort Gridley, through Morristown and descends a long grade into Grove City.

Grove City is a marvel in itself of MSTS construction. Extending miles from the midpoint Grove City increases in tempo until you reach the downtown area where a dense city structure creates this beautiful panoramic view of the city. The depth is amazing! And you're probably thinking the frame rate is probably to low. But new construction techniques actually allow decent frame rate even while your switching! Three large yards and six industries make up the Grove City branchline. That's right. Unlike the previous expansions where most of your work is done outside the cities, this time, your work is done inside the city. And you'll be switching industries that include a textile mill and a cement plant.

But that's not all. Grove City comes with new track textures. Four new track textures, much improved over the original ones, allow you to have two kinds of ballast with and without grease stains. But you got to see these track textures. The detail is so good!

Now let's talk about what many say about many routes. Lots of route with nothing but country inbetween. That is not so with Canton, including the Grove City expansion. You're never out in the country for very long. There's always a town nearby. A few miles of country maybe, but rarely for much longer than that. But even so, it's important that the country looks like country. So once again, new improvements to object technique and texturing allow me to create an authentic looking country environment. You'll see extreme depths of view and plenty of weeds and overbrush which give Grove City unparallel realism in country driving.

Still hesitant? How about a 1:40 short video of Canton to help you decide:
