Fastline Simulation in association with MakingTracks is pleased to announce that the concluding part of the Irish Enterprise series - 'Irish Enterprise South', will be released on 14th December 2007.
Depicting the southern section of Ireland's Enterprise route from Dundalk to Dublin, the route also includes the Tara mines branch and the Dublin Area Rapid Transit (DART) system. The route includes a wide variety of locomotives and rolling stock, much of it unique to the railways of Ireland, to enable most operations on the route to be experienced. To enable users to become familiar with the route a number of activities are also included.
The railways of Ireland are pretty much unique, even down to the track gauge of 5'3" which was arrived at as a compromise by an external arbitrator! Much of the older rolling stock owes it's heritage to British practice with more modern items being supplied from Europe and the USA. Whether you like driving high speed express trains, heavy freights, local goods trains or intensive commuter services, 'Irish Enterprise South' has something to offer you, often combined with a railway atmosphere where time seems to have stood still.
Irish Enterprise South is now available for pre-order at £19.99 + P&P
For customers who have previously purchased Irish Enterprise North a linking program is included to allow the two routes to be combined allowing users to experience the entire Enterprise route from Belfast to Dublin. To support the linked route a number of additional activities are also supplied making use of the entire route. The linking process has been devised in such a way as to preserve all the community activities which have been created for Irish Enterprise North.
