Unfortunately, due to the fact of a lack of interest of most of its members, the lack of good staff and the fact I am reaching a point in my life where I can no longer develop Midwest Rail Systems by myself, I am forced to sadly tell the Microsoft Train Simulator community that Midwest Rail Systems well probably never reopen.

That is unless someone out there who has the time, energy, and experience to head this project by taking over development of actives, rail equipment and manage the VRR. I am willing to continue to pay for the server and develop the site if other people are willing to manage the rest of the VRR. I stated MRS to provide a unique user experience to the Train Sim community, however it has never been able to do this. I will truly miss working on MRS.

The Chicago Great Western Route V2.1 Final MRS Edition will be available for public download soon. Anyone interested in continuing MRS should email taic@midwest-rail.com immediately.

To all the MRS engineers and staff thank you for all the hard work and I will miss working with you.
