As part of Capitol Crossing, the National Model Railroad Association's 2004 Annual Convention in Lansing, P.I. Engineering is hosting an open house featuring the following exhibits:

RailDriver Full Sized Locomotive Simulator

Participants can drive a full sized GP-38 switcher testing our new Trainmaster Train Simulator software in a realistic cab with two synchronized large screen monitors and full sound support.

SD40-2 Locomotive Cab

We bought the cab of a real SD40-2 cab from a salvage yard (all 7 1/2 tons of it) and set it up in our parking lot. Visitors can climb aboard and see our restoration/remodel in progress.

RailDriver Desktop Train Cab Controller Demonstration

Participants can test our RailDriver prototypical controller with one of three simulation programs and take home a free route for Microsoft Train Simulator or Trainz TRS2004.

RailDriver DCC Demonstration

Run our N scale layout with a RailDriver Desktop Controller. See how prototypical levers drive a computer controlled DCC system to run scale model trains.

RailDriver Cyclopedia Demonstration

Test any of our four historic cyclopedias. Open a high resolution drawing of your favorite locomotive or car and use our Scale Print software to print out precise working schematics in your modeling scale.

And More

Get a sneak preview of our new products including the full sized AAR105 control stand. Meet our friendly staff and chat with experts in train simulation and virtual train modeling.
