Ohio Valley System Expands The Ohio Valley System has added a Narrow Gauge Division and a Traction Division to its popular VR. Narrow gauge enthusiasts and traction enthusiasts now have a home. OVS added the Rio Grande Southern and Mesaba Electric routes, with plans for Red Arrow Lines and more narrow gauge routes in the future. OVS Short Lines Adds Northern Arkansas Route OVS Short Lines, the short line VR, has added Andre Ming's North Arkansas Railroad to its route lineup. The virtual railroad is the short line operator of the popular "Ohio Valley System" and members are free to run with that busy regional VR as well. The Northern Arkansas route is steam based and set at the turn of the century, which prefectly complements the diesel era Canton Railroad. The VR also operates the East Metro route. [More...]
