WELCOME!

The Boston Area MG Club was started by a small group of MG car enthusiasts and has grown to a current membership of around 50. The club sponsors many activities, including monthly meetings, drives, technical sessions and parties. We are a very social group and encourage participation.

General membership meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month. Currently we do not have a fixed meeting location, but have been meeting at various area restaurants. The meetings start at 7:00. Details will usually be posted here, and members can sign-up for email notices via our Yahoo Group.

Our annual car show is held in October at the Edaville Railroad in Carver, Massachusetts. The site offers train rides, a cranberry festival, rides for kids and craftspeople. Membership dues are $15.00 per year. You do not have to own an MG to be a member. Come to a meeting to join, or use the "Join" link at the right.

Our next meeting will be held November 10 at 7:00 p.m. at the Burlington Marriott (info/directions).

Holiday Party: Everyone seems to hold a party in December, so we've decided to do something different and hold ours in January, when we need something to break up the winter doldrums! The party is tentatively planned for January 14, 2006.

BAMG sponsored Dyno Day on June 4th at New England Dyno in Worcester. Participants had their cars run on the dyno to check performance, while others just come by for the mini car show and cookout. We even signed up three new members (welcome!). Organizer Paul Seeberg has provided a photo gallery here.

Our second annual BAMG British Car Show at the Edaville Railroad in Carver, Massachusetts was a success! Held on October 1, the day started out cool but it cleared up to be a nice sunny day. Some 55 British cars attended and everyone had fun talking, eating, riding the train and more. Photos can be round here. Photos from the 2004 show can be viewed here
